Determination of the domain of the admissible matrix elements in the four-dimensional PT −symmetric anharmonic model

چکیده
Many manifestly non-Hermitian Hamiltonians (typically, PT −symmetric complex anharmonic oscillators) possess a strictly real, “physical” bound-state spectrum. This means that they are (quasi-)Hermitian with respect to a suitable non-standard metric Θ 6= I. The domain D of the existence of this metric is studied here for a nontrivial though still non-numerical four-parametric “benchmark” matrix model.

Calculation of One-dimensional Forward Modelling of Helicopter-borne Electromagnetic Data and a Sensitivity Matrix Using Fast Hankel Transforms
The helicopter-borne electromagnetic (HEM) frequency-domain exploration method is an airborne electromagnetic (AEM) technique that is widely used for vast and rough areas for resistivity imaging. The vast amount of digitized data flowing from the HEM method requires an efficient and accurate inversion algorithm. Generally, the inverse modelling of HEM data in the first step requires a precise a...
متن کاملMatrix Hamiltonians with an algebraic guarantee of unbroken PT −symmetry
Although the quantum bound-state energies may be generated by the so called PT −symmetric Hamiltonians H = PH†P 6 = H where P is, typically, parity, the spectrum only remains real and observable (i.e., in the language of physics, the PT −symmetry remains unbroken) inside a domain D of couplings. We show that the boundary ∂D (i.e., certain stability and observability horizon formed by the Kato’s...

متن کاملQuantum Squeezed Light Propagation in an Optical Parity-Time (PT)-Symmetric Structure
We investigate the medium effect of a parity-time (PT)-symmetric bilayer on the quantum optical properties of an incident squeezed light at zero temperature (T=0 K). To do so, we use the canonical quantization approach and describe the amplification and dissipation properties of the constituent layers of the bilayer structure by Lorentz model to analyze the quadrature squeezing of the outgoing ...
متن کاملCombined Unfolded Principal Component Analysis and Artificial Neural Network for Determination of Ibuprofen in Human Serum by Three-Dimensional Excitation–Emission Matrix Fluorescence Spectroscopy
This study describes a simple and rapid approach of monitoring ibuprofen (IBP). Unfolded principal component analysis-artificial neural network (UPCA-ANN) and excitation-emission spectra resulted from spectrofluorimetry method were combined to develop new model in the determination of IBF in human serum samples. Fluorescence landscapes with excitation wavelengths from 235 to 265 nm and emission...
